Cullman men with history of violence involved in murder-suicide

CULLMAN, AL -

Two Cullman men with a history of violent conflict were involved in a murder-suicide Monday.

According to the Cullman Police Department, Terry Glen Bailey, 54, shot David Eugene Abney, 42, three times in a residential yard. Bailey died on the way to Cullman Regional Medical Center from a self-inflected gunshot wound.

Bailey was found outside his home in his vehicle, suffering the gunshot wound. The gun was found in his vehicle, as well.

Police say Bailey had been charged with assault against Abney in December after an incident involving both parties.Both men resided at Gold Mark Apartments in Cullman.
