The Birmingham Police Department has arrested a suspect in a homicide that took place Friday.
James Johnson, 38, of Birmingham, was charged with felony murder in the death of 55-year-old John Mullins. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of 41st Street North.
Johnson is in custody of the Jefferson County Jail and is being held in lieu of $75,000 bond.
