Despite a wet, rainy day, the search continued for a missing Trussville teenager. No one has seen sixteen year old Michelle Dawn Cook since Monday night.
Volunteers gathered in the target parking lot near Highway 11 at nine, Saturday morning. The girl's father, Andrew Cook, handed out flyers to a group of family and friends. From there, they traveled miles to spread the word.
Andrew said the last time he saw his daughter is when he went to bed late Monday night. He got up from bed and walked around the house and noticed she was missing. He said she escaped through her bedroom window because there was a small portion still open.
The sixteen year old Hewitt-Trussville High School student was last seen on Tuesday around noon off Roper Road in Trussville. Police believes she was in a white, two door car.
