Believe it or not, #1 Alabama is now 3-0 on the season.
It might not feel that way after two uninspiring wins against non-conference opponents Virginia Tech and Colorado State.
And, oh yeah, the Crimson Tide beat Texas A&M in what might be their toughest game of 2013.
But few are focusing on that right now after what happened last weekend against the Rams.
Fair or unfair, that's become "The Bama Standard."
If you're expected to win in a blowout and you don't, the fan base might be unhappy.
While that's part of the price of immense success, the Alabama players still have to deal with the weight of playing up to those very high expectations.
Tide center Ryan Kelly says "The Bama Standard" was started by all of the players who came before him.
Now Alabama will look to improve their level of play when #21 Ole Miss visits Tuscaloosa this weekend.
