TUSCALOOSA, AL -

Court records show former University of Alabama football player Eddie Williams will be tried as an adult for campus robberies committed in February.

According to state court records, Williams' request for Youthful Offender Status was denied at a hearing last Thursday in Tuscaloosa.

Williams and two other former players, D.J. Pettway and Tyler Hayes, were charged with robbing two students near the Ferguson Student Center and Eddie Williams on February 11th.

Williams and former player Brent Calloway were accused of using a stolen student credit card to buy snacks at an athletic dorm later that morning.

All four men applied for Youthful Offender Status, which would seal their cases from the public.

Pettway, Hayes and Calloway's cases are still sealed, which indicates their Youthful Offender Status was granted.

Williams' robbery case was made public again on Tuesday.

He was indicted on the robbery charges on March 21st.

During in interview with Alabama's 13 in April, Calloway talked about his role in the crimes and his reaction to the robbery charges against his former teammates.
