University of Alabama reviewing student organization block seating over early departures

TUSCALOOSA, AL -

University of Alabama administrators say they will review photos and video from the student section at Bryant-Denny Stadium last weekend after reports that UA students started leaving before halftime.

The Tide shut out Arkansas 52 to zero on Saturday, but you could see empty holes in the student section well before the game ended.

Before the game, SGA President Jimmy Taylor sent an email to student organizations who had reserved block seating in the student section not to do so.

It reads, in part: "Excessive early departures in future games will result in having block seating removed from organizations.  I am aware that this same repercussion has been suggested in the past, but has gone unenforced; however, that will not be the case this year."

Taylor went on to encourage attendance at all remaining home football games.
