A teenager has been arrested in a restaurant robbery in Tuscaloosa.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department reports officers were called to the Shrimp Basket on McFarland Boulevard on a robbery call on October 18, 2013 about 10:30pm CT.
The employees told officers that after all customers left, and they were taking the trash out the back door, a suspect was standing there with a handgun.
The suspect went into the restaurant and demanded money.
The suspect did not get any money, and ran away.
The person arrested in this case is Timothy Cornell Lipscomb, 19, of Tuscaloosa.
Lipscomb is charged with Robbery 1, and is in the Tuscaloosa County Jail.
