BIRMINGHAM, AL -

It is a big weekend here in Birmingham. It's time for the annual State Farm Magic City Classic. It's the rivalry football game between Alabama A&M and Alabama State University.

Thousands of fans of both schools are in town making final preparations for the largest Historically Black College and Universities classic in the country.

The Westin and Sheraton downtown is at over 95% capacity for the weekend. The hotels offer 1,151 rooms combined and they expect to have more than 1,000 rooms occupied both Friday and Saturday night.

The t-shirt printing machine at Tonedef Digital and Zion's Greek Boutique has been working non-stop all day and all week. Customers have been flowing in and out of the store buying clothing items and Divine Nine Greek apparel for Saturday's big classic game. Both stores will be at Legion Field tomorrow selling all sorts of items.

Over in Bessemer, Cornerstone Daycare is providing childcare services Friday night and Saturday night for parents who plan to celebrate all weekend. Per night, the cost is $50 for one child. The daycare offers a discount for siblings. The facility is fully secured and there will be plenty for the little ones to do. The contact number for Cornerstone Daycare is (205) 434-2918.
