There are five games this weekend between top 25 teams! That equals a great day of college football in my books.
Here are the top ten games of week 13:
10. Washington at Oregon State – 9:30 p.m. ESPN 2
This game would’ve been much more appealing six weeks ago, but it’s still late night PAC12 goodness.
9. Vanderbilt at Tennessee – 6:00 p.m. ESPN 2
The Commodores are bowl eligible, but the Vols have to win their final two game in order to go bowling.
8. #13 Michigan State at Northwestern – 11:00 a.m. ESPN
The Spartans need this win this game to lockup the BIG10 Legends. Northwestern needs this win to keep their bowl hopes alive. Should be a solid early morning game.
7. #20 Oklahoma at Kansas State – 11:00 a.m. FOX Sports 1
Should be another good early morning kick. Neither team is playing for much, but a better bowl trip perhaps.
6. Rutgers at #18 UCF – Thursday 6:30 p.m. ESPN
Rutgers trying to become bowl eligible, but UCF is trying to stay atop of the American and in the driver’s seat for a BCS Bowl.
5. #19 Wisconsin at #25 Minnesota - 2:30 p.m. ESPN
Minnesota has been a great story and a fun team to watch this season. The Gophers have won their last four, but these last two games will be a challenge. No matter how this ends, I think it will be a success for Minnesota.
Wisconsin is still flying under the radar, but the Badgers have a shot at earning an at-large BCS spot.
4. #12 Texas A&M at #22 LSU – 2:30 p.m. CBS
The Aggies also trying to earn an at-large BCS spot, but have to beat LSU and Missouri to close out the season. LSU meanwhile, doesn’t have much left to play for except pride. Also worth noting that a solid performance by Johnny Manziel in Death Valley could boost his Heisman hopes.
3. #8 Missouri at #24 Ole Miss – 6:45 p.m. ESPN
Everything is on the line for the Missouri Tigers. South Carolina is already in the clubhouse at 6-2 in SEC play, and need Missouri to lose one of their final two games.
2. #17 Arizona State at #14 UCLA – 6:00 p.m. FOX
The winner of this game will take control of a very close the PAC12 South race. This is what November college football is all about.
1. #4 Baylor at #10 Oklahoma State – 7:00 p.m. ABC
There is still a gridlock at the top of college football. Sure, Alabama and Florida State control their destiny, but teams like Baylor and Ohio State could finish the season unbeaten. If we only had the playoffs this season! This should be a high scoring football game with a lot on the line. Will Bryce Petty have his “Heisman Moment”, or will the Cowboys spoil the Bears BCS party?
