All they did was win games.
The 2013 Crimson Tide senior class will play their final Iron Bowl of their collegiate careers on Saturday. The first two names you think of in that class are McCarron and Mosley.
But don't forget about Kevin Norwood.
One of Bama's most clutch performers has not forgotten his first Iron Bowl appearance and it sounds like it's still motivating him to this day.
"I have one Iron Bowl in mind," Norwood said. "That's when Cam Newton was here and they came to our town and beat us...Darius Hanks had went down and I was up behind him. I really wasn't ready. I really wasn't ready. I dropped a pass that could've got us a first down, kept the ball moving. That day, that moment is everlasting in my mind. I never let that go because I feel like I could've done a lot to help the team win."
When it comes to big games, few players in recent college football history have had more success than Norwood.
Since Norwood joined the Tide roster in 2009, Alabama has played 28 games against teams ranked in the Associated Press Top 25.
Bama has a 23-5 record in those games.
