PHOTOS: Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium suffers $25k in damage after Iron Bowl win

Posted: Updated:

The Auburn Tigers victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2013 Iron Bowl brought out a lot of celebrations, and also a lot of damage.

Maintenance crews at Jordan-Hare Stadium spent Monday cleaning up, after the big game Saturday night.

Crews were busy fixing sod repairs in the turf, and also clipping off damaged branches in the hedges around the field.

One of the play clocks was also damaged, and must be repaired.

The Iron Bowl ended on a 100-yard field goal attempt TD run by Auburn, and fans rushed the field, and also damaged a lot of the stadium’s hedges.

Workers estimate the damage will cost $25,000 to repair it all, but they say they’ll gladly do the repairs, for having the big win this year.
