BLOG: Top 10 College Football Games of Week 15

Posted: Updated:

Championship Week is here!

Here are the top ten games of week 15:

10. Utah State vs #23 Fresno State– 9:00 p.m. CBS

Not a bad late night football game, and it’s for the Mountain West.

9. Jacksonville State at McNeese State – 6:00 p.m. ESPN 3

The JSU Gamecocks looking to advance in the FCS Playoffs.

8. Marshall vs Rice – 11:00 a.m. ESPN 2

Should be a very competitive C-USA Championship game.

7. Bowling Green at #14 Northern Illinois – 7:00 p.m. ESPN 2

Some Friday night #MACTION! Can NIU earn an at-large BCS berth and take the MAC crown? NIU quarterback Jordan Lynch should earn a trip to the Heisman ceremony.

6. #25 Texas at #9 Baylor – 2:30 p.m. FOX

Will this be the last hurrah for Mack Brown? Should be a classic Big10 shootout.

5. #17 Oklahoma at #6 Oklahoma State - 11:00 a.m. ABC

Bedlam!!! Always a good rivalry and a win means a BIG 12 Championship for the Cowboys.

4. #7 Stanford at #11 Arizona State – 6:45 p.m. ESPN

I believe that the PAC12 is the 2nd best conference, but once again their championship game means…well...nothing really. Sure both teams want to land in the Rose Bowl, but there’s not a lot of national interest in this game.

3. #5 Missouri vs. #3 Auburn – 3:00 p.m. CBS

Will a 1 loss SEC Champion be held out of the BCS National Championship? Sadly, yes….unless of course, Ohio State or Florida State falls in their conference championship games.

Still though, it’s the SEC Championship that no one saw coming, but should be a great game.

Malzahn: "Missouri will be a big challenge for us"

2. #20 Duke vs. #1 Florida State – 7:00 p.m. ABC

Jameis Winston has been cleared, and FSU should roll into the title game. BUT this is college football and crazy things can happen at any time.

1. #2 Ohio State vs. #10 Michigan State – 7:17 p.m. FOX

It’s been a really really really long time since the Buckeyes last lost a game, but this could be the week that Ohio State falls. If so, the winner of the SEC Championship should advance to the BCS Title game.
