One child dies, two others seriously injured after fatal Bullock County crash

One child has died and two others remains hospitalized with serious injuries after a Friday morning crash in Bullock County,  Alabama State Patrol announces.

Around 6:20 a.m. ct, Darjean Williams, 26, of Midway, was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer along Bullock County 89 about four miles northeast of Midway when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned, according to Trooper Kevin Cook. Williams and two other passengers, Renner Austin, 29, of Union Springs, and Monique Williams, 9, of Midway, were killed in the crash. Nvila Siyvester, 6, of Midway, suffered life threatening injuries in the crash. Dekeem Siyvester, 5, also of Midway, suffered serious injuries. Both survivors were taken to the Children's Hospital in Birmingham.

Troopers say seat belts were not being worn at the time of the crash.

    An Amber Alert has been canceled after 2-year old Maliah Harris was found safe in Georgia. Her 7-month-old sibling, Alyssa, was found dead and Maliah disappeared from a Mississippi home which prompted authorities to issue the alert. The girls parents, Donald Boyd Harris,34, and Allison Studdard, 31, are now in custody.
