Rolling Toomer’s Corner is a timeless Auburn tradition. Fans fill the downtown Auburn and roll the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and College Street with toilet paper.

Many fans have said they will roll the palm trees outside the Rose Bowl Stadium if Auburn wins, but Rose Bowl officials say not so fast.

In a tweet in response to an Auburn-fan account that asked if the palm trees had ever been rolled, the official Rose Bowl Stadium account said:

“Please do not attempt to roll the palm trees. PPD will take action if necessary.” -@RoseBowlStadium

“I don't think I have the arm to throw it 300 feet in the air to the palm trees anyway,” says Austin Whitt a senior at Auburn who is out in Pasadena for the game.

Another Auburn student says he thinks people will still try. He says fans will want to take the tradition out west.

"I'm sure some people are going to,” says Reid McFarland, an Auburn senior. “I don't really want to get arrested; I heard there are going to be some police officers out there.”

Not being able to roll trees hasn't stopped Auburn fans before. This year was the first season without Toomer's Oaks. Auburn fans still filled the corner and rolled wires suspended above the street after every football victory.

If they come out with a win on Monday night, fans out here may find something to roll. One thing is for certain though, fans will fill Toomer’s Corner in Auburn if they win,  and no one will be stopping them.
