Heating assistance reopening in Muscogee County

MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Ga. -

Enrichment Services Program, Inc.: Enrichment Services Program, Inc. will provide Heating Assistance for Muscogee County residents starting Friday, January 17, 2014 at 7:00 am.

Once all of the appointment slots have been filled for this period, the line will re-open for Muscogee County Residents on Friday, February 7, 2014 for the remaining appointments for the season.

Appointments will be taken by telephone only until the allotted appointments have been made.  All applicants will be seen at 2100 12th Avenue Columbus, GA 31901 and MUST bring the following:

  • Proof of income for all household members 18 years old and older for the past 30 days
  • Proof of Social Security Numbers for each person in the household
  • Last/current month's heating bill for the household
  • Proof of citizenship or legal immigrant status (state issued picture identification (ID) such as: driver's license, ID card, voter registration card, passport, military ID, etc.)
  • If receiving SSI, the 2014 award letter is required.

 All applicants must meet the federal income poverty guidelines. 

 The appointment line will be closed periodically based on the availability of funds and based on the allotted appointment slots.
