President Obama to speak in Triangle Wednesday

RALEIGH, N.C. -

President Barack Obama will speak Wednesday in the Raleigh-Durham area, the White House announced Thursday afternoon.

Specifics are being worked out and will be announced at a later date.

Obama has made multiple trips to North Carolina during his presidency. He spoke at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in April 2012 and spoke at N.C. State's Reynolds Coliseum in September 2011.

He also toured Durham's Cree facility in June 2011.

He spoke at Broughton High School in July 2009.
