One dead in shooting in Center Point area

BIRMINGHAM, AL -     A man has been killed  in an apparent shooting in northeast Jefferson County.  
    According to Jefferson County Sheriff's Dept. Chief Deputy Randy Christian, just before 5:30 p.m.this afternoon deputies responded to a report of multiple gun shots being fired by several people in the 400 block of 19th Terrace NE, that's in the Center Point area.
    Deputies arrived to find a male victim laying in the street. He was pronounced dead on the scene. 
    The victim's name is being withheld pending identification. Detectives are the scene. No suspect is in custody at this time.
  Initial indications are that an argument between neighbors led to gunfire.
