The University of Alabama and ESPN announced that the 2014 A-Day Spring Football Game will be televised on Saturday, April 19 by ESPNU. Kickoff has been moved up to 1 p.m. in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Admission will be free to the public and information regarding television talent, additional activities, traffic and parking will be available at a later date on rolltide.com.
The annual A-Day game is the 15th and final practice of the spring football season. Alabama leads the nation in spring game attendance. Over the last seven years, the Crimson Tide has averaged 84,978 fans per A-Day, bringing in a total of 594,851 fans to Bryant-Denny for the spring game.
The largest A-Day attendance in school history came in 2011 (92,138) and in Nick Saban's first year with the Tide (2007), the stadium was at full capacity prior to expansion.
In five of the last six years, one of the ESPN outlets has carried A-Day live to a national audience.
