Hundreds raced to Birmingham’s Historic Sloss Furnaces for the first ever IRONTRIBE Fitness Tribe 5K & Chili Cook-off benefiting Lifeline Children’s Services.
For those looking for a fun challenge that worked muscles and taste buds, they found it Saturday morning at the historic Sloss Furnaces . From a challenging course that winded through Birmingham Sloss Furnaces Districts to tasting an array of mouthwatering chili dishes from local restaurants; the Tribe 5K & Chili Cook-off was a 3-in-1 event  that offered participants  a chance to help raise money for an agency aimed at paring children in need with loving  families.

Lifeline Children’s Services is a full-service adoption and orphan care ministry, serving families and children in the United States and around the globe.
