$5,000 reward for capture of inmate

Posted: Updated:
A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the capture of a Tattnall County Jail escapee.

The U. S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force says Chad Everette Dasher escaped January 24, after executing an elaborate plan to breach security and make it out through jail’s roof.

Dasher has been the focus of extensive manhunts in Texas and Alabama and managed to elude capture. He was being held at the Tattnall County Jail on several charges stemming from a multi-county crime spree that occurred in Georgia in 2012.  Dasher is a 5’9” white male and weighs 140 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair.  His criminal history includes arrests for burglary, firearms, fraud, narcotics, resisting arrest and traffic offenses. Dasher has a history of fleeing from law enforcement. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Any information relating to Dasher should be relayed to the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office at 912-557-6777 or the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center at 1-800-336-0102.  Tips can also be emailed to usms.wanted@usdoj.gov. All information is confidential.
