Top 3 selected in MCSD Teacher of the Year Program

MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Ga. - Three teachers have been selected as finalists for the Muscogee County School District Teacher of the Year.

Laura Perryman who teaches 8th Grade Math at Blackmon Road Middle, Brandy Sipling, who's a 2nd Grade teacher at Midland Academy and Bruce Fussell, a 4th and 5th Grade EBD teacher at Allen Elementary have all been selected.

The Muscogee Educational Excellence Foundation recognizes teachers who have dedicated themselves to excellence in the classroom.

The three were narrowed down after interviews with the top 10 finalists.

After observations at their schools, the 2014 Teacher of the Year will be announced at a gala May 1st at the Trade Center. It is open to the public and you can purchase tickets at the Springer Box Office April 14th-25th for $35 each.
