Auburn commit Smith arrested in Mobile

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Auburn commit Jason Smith was arrested early Sunday morning in Mobile, according to WKRG.

Smith has been charged with possession of Marijuana and two counts of attempting to elude police.

The former McGill-Toolen star committed to Auburn as a member of the 2013 class. After failing to qualify academically, Smith intended on transferring to Auburn as a member of the 2015 class. He is currently playing at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Smith is listed as a four-star recruit by Scout.com.
