AUBURN, AL -
Bo Jackson may be the greatest athlete of our generation.
Last week, he played a round of golf in Jason Dufner's charity tournament in Auburn.
When it comes to golf, Bo knows to stick with football.
"My golf game sucks," Jackson said. "I live in Chicago. The snow is just melting there you can't get out and play."
The former McAdory High School and Auburn two-sport star last played professionally in 1994.
But he is still an authority on all things Auburn athletics.
He even has an opinion on the job athletics director Jay Jacobs has done, with the recent hirings of head coaches; Bruce Pearl in basketball, Gus Malzahn in football and Sunny Galloway in baseball.
"Jay Jacobs is just doing his job, that's all," Jackson said. "Actually things are looking up around there. My thing is I look forward to the next season. Last year, is gone, I don't even talk about it, I'm looking forward to next season."
Speaking of next season, how does Malzahn and the football team follow up last season's magical run to the title game?
"You can't get too greedy," Jackson said. "You have to take it one day at a time. That's what I say."
