RALEIGH, N.C. -

As many as six people have been transported with injuries after a pick-up truck rear-ended a school bus from Wake Early College.

EMS said it received a report of the crash Monday afternoon at Fox and Louisburg roads. The bus driver and five students were transported with injuries to WakeMed.

Raleigh police said three additional students received medical attention from EMS at the scene, but were not transported.

Wake schools said 24 students were on board the bus at the time of the crash and they were coming from the Wake Tech campus.
