Many Christians in Alabama and around the world remembered what happened on Good Friday, through prayers and holding the Way of the Cross services.

Today is a holy day for all Christians, and many were at Edgewood Presbyterian Church.

The churches and members participating were All Saints’ Episcopal Church, Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, Edgewood Presbyterian Church, Friendship Baptist Church, Oakmont United Methodist Church, Second Presbyterian Church, Shades Valley Lutheran Church, Trinity United Methodist Church, and Union Baptist Church.

The Way of the Cross remembers when Jesus Christ was condemned to death, takes the cross to Golgotha, is nailed to the cross, dies on the cross, and is buried in a tomb.
