    The United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham held it's annual prom for students in the LincPoint Program.This year's theme was “Under the sea.”The prom was held at the gymnasium at Aldersgate UMC.The formal wear was donated and volunteers were on hand to help with hair and makeup, as well as decorations.Also, a prom king and queen were crowned at the event.

Patients and their families at Children’s of Alabama got an up-close look at a real racing car.

The Racing for Children’s Porsche 911 made an appearance at the hospital today, much to the delight of patients and their families.

The new design of the #4 GTS Class racecar was unveiled Tuesday before it races in the Pirelli World Challenge this weekend.

The Porsche is decorated with the handprints of Children’s patients as a reflection of individual and corporate sponsorships of the Racing for Children’s mission.

Driver Clint Guthrie was also there for the event.
