Authorities make second arrest in Seale murder

RUSSELL COUNTY, Ala. -

UPDATE: A second arrest has been made in the murder of 23-year-old Eric Anderson. Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor says 24-year-old Jeramiah Sokolgz was taken into custody around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, and is being held at the Muscogee County Jail. He is being charged with capital murder.

Friday Anthony Carter was arrested in connection with the Tuesday murder of Eric Anderson. Authorities say they also recovered all of the items that went missing from Anderson’s home.

Anderson was found dead in a mobile home that he was renting on Avalon Circle. Sheriff Taylor tells News 3 that Anderson died from blunt force trauma to the head. Taylor also says it could have been the result of a home invasion.
