Stormy end to April

Posted: Updated:
We're looking at most of the strong storms staying west of here Monday. The storms out west will develop into a line of showers and storms, some strong to severe, which will move through Tuesday morning. Then, the atmosphere will recover enough to allow more storms to develop later Tuesday, a few of them stronger. That wouldn’t be good news for us as we’ll see those storms roll through late Tuesday through early Wednesday.  Things settle down after Wednesday and the beginning of May will actually be quite cool.

MONDAY: Few stray showers northwest of our area. Highs climb to near 82

Monday night: Strong line of showers and storms march toward us. Low: 70

TUESDAY:  Storms early could contain damaging gusts and an isolated tornado. We’ll then have to wait until after 5 PM for round #2. High near 83

Tuesday Night: More showers and storms, a few strong to severe, roll through. Lows near 69.

WEDNESDAY: Morning showers and storms give way to a little bit of sunshine. Highs near 78.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy. Lows near 55

Thursday:  Mostly cloudy. Highs near 72.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy. Lows dip near 50.

Friday: Mostly cloudy. High: 72.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy. Lows near 49.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy.  Highs near 75.

Saturday Night: Few clouds. Lows near 54.

Sunday:  Mostly sunny. High: 82

Sunday Night: Mostly clear. Lows near 58
