    Two victims were shot in the chest and died. Two other people had non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to survive, said police.

TUSCALOOSA, AL - Police have two suspects in custody in connection to a robbery and kidnapping investigation.

The incident happened Monday around 3:45 p.m. at an apartment in the 4400 block of NE 17th Street.

Officers say the 23 year-old male victim had gone to the apartment to meet a friend. When he walked in he was attacked by three or four people.

The suspects beat the victim and took his wallet and phone.

They then forced him to drive to ATM’s to withdraw money. The victim was then kicked and the suspects drove off with his car.

Two of the suspects were arrested –Dremayne Kevon Lee, 19, and Denzel Washington, 17.

Both have been charged with robbery and kidnapping.

The investigation continues.
