BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Birmingham Police Department has released details on the services scheduled for Officer Keary Hollis.

Officer Hollis was shot and killed Saturday night at Avenue Y and Bush Boulevard. He was off-duty at the time.

Investigators say it happened during an argument between Hollis and the shooting suspect Patrick Johnson.

Johnson has since been charged with capital murder in case.

A candlelight vigil organized by the Birmingham Police Department's Chaplains Corps will be held tonight at the West Precinct at 7:00 p.m.

A viewing for Officer Hollis will be this Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Arrington Funeral Home on Cotton Avenue.

A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Greater New Antioch Baptist Church in Ensley.

The burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

Officer Hollis was a five-year veteran of the police force and father of four.
