RALEIGH, N.C. - A massive tree fell on a Raleigh home Saturday causing damage to two cars and the house itself.

A woman at the house, who has lived there for 15 years, was on her porch when the tree came down. The biggest limbs narrowly missing her.

"I just saw the branches falling on top of me," said Kathi McFadden.

She is grateful she wasn't hurt.

"To look at that and know I was underneath there---it's crazy," McFadden said of the scene.

Saturday night, tree cutting crews were at the home at E. Whitaker Mill Road and Pine Drive to clear the debris.

The intersection was closed for hours as downed power lines were fixed and police assessed the situation.
