BIRMINGHAM, AL - Birmingham native and Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery held a youth football camp at Legion Field. Cotchery is about to begin his first season with the Panthers, after spending time with both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets.

Cotchery is now going to work with former Auburn quarterback Cam Newton. Cotchery said he made his rivalry allegiance clear when he met Newton for the first time.

"Growing up, I was an Alabama fan," Cotchery said. "I had to let Cam know that as soon as I met him, you know, when I walked through the door. My parents and most everybody else in my family is "War Eagle." So it was a fun household growing up."
