Police say the incident happened Sunday afternoon in the 1800 block of Eisenhower Street in south Gadsden. According to investigators, three men forced a vehicle to stop and threw a brick through an open back window, striking a woman in the face. The woman remains hospitalized.

Gadsden Police have arrested and charged:

·         Michael Hammett, 33

·         James White, 38

It’s believed the attack stemmed from a previous dispute, but that the victim did not know the suspects.

All three men remain in jail on bond.
