Columbus veterans workshop scheduled for August 6

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

A Veterans Workshop aimed at helping Columbus-area veterans is scheduled for August 6, Congressman Lynn Westmoreland's office announced Thursday. Veterans and their families who are in need of assistance are invited to attend.

Between 1 and 4p et on Wednesday, August 6, representatives from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the Georgia Department of Veterans Service will be available to discuss opportunities and services they provide. The workshop will be held at the VFW Post 665, which is located at 1824 Victory Drive.
