Alabama has big shoes to fills this season at quarterback... replacing long time starter AJ McCarron.

One man who knows what it takes to be the quarterback at the Capstone, former Alabama quarterback John Parker Wilson.

"From what I've seen he's a great quarterback," Wilson said of Florida State transfer Jacob Coker.

Wilson is not the only one using the word "great" while referring to Jacob Coker. "He's going to have a lot of expectations on him, and for him it's just going to be handling the pressure," Wilson said. "Having to learn a new system, new coaches, it will be a learning process, and he's not going to complete 100% of his passes, but he has to just manage expectations."

Coker will battle fifth-year senior Blake Sims for the starting job. That battle will get underway when The Tide starts Fall Camp on Friday.
